Lake Manyara National Park lies at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, squeezed between the cliffs and the lake. It is a small park next to Tarangire or the Serengeti, and a day's drive passes through groundwater forest, open floodplain and the lakeshore.
The rate includes a walking safari as well as the game drive, so part of the day is spent on foot. Park fees, a hamper lunch, drinks in the vehicle, a safari hat and government tax are included. Start and return times are confirmed when you book.
