Tarangire is known for its elephants and for the baobab trees scattered across its grassland. The Tarangire River runs the length of the park, and in the dry months it is the main source of water for the area, so animals gather along its banks.
This is a game-drive day in a 4WD with a pop-up roof. Lunch is a bush lunch rather than a boxed one. Park fees, drinks in the vehicle, a safari hat and government tax are included. Start and return times are confirmed when you book.
